Mineral Oil, Camelia Oil, Ballistol, to name a few.
+1 for Ballistol. Ballistol - The Original CLP - Cleans, Lubricates, Preserves
Great stuff, can be used for a huge amount of things. Ive left razors for months on end with no probs using this stuff.
Another Ballistol thumbs up! I only use it now and it is great stuff!
The truth is i haven't oiled any of my razors in years.
I haven't used Camelia oil but I have read that that oil for long term storage doesn't work very well as it starts to get sticky?

Another vote here for Ballistol. Works great as a rust inhibitor and lubricant without getting gummy over time.
I use a Hoppe's gun & reel Silicone Cloth to wipe down my blades if they going in storage. Have never had a problem with it getting gunky or anything.

Do you think it's better than mineral oil? I have Ballistol and use it particularly on blades when they're going to stored for a while. But since I end up rotating through my razors pretty quickly, the oil never stays on them for more than a month or so, at most.
