What kind of oil should I use on my SR?
Simple question: what kind of oil should I use on my SR blade when they are being stored and not used on a daily basis? I am assuming that when applying oil less is more?

Thanked: 228I haven't used Camelia oil but I have read that that oil for long term storage doesn't work very well as it starts to get sticky?

Another vote here for Ballistol. Works great as a rust inhibitor and lubricant without getting gummy over time.

Do you think it's better than mineral oil? I have Ballistol and use it particularly on blades when they're going to stored for a while. But since I end up rotating through my razors pretty quickly, the oil never stays on them for more than a month or so, at most.
