"Bead caps" can make interesting collars if you are going for a different look. Sterling silver or raw brass work well. The only pain is the inner hole is usually a little small and needs to be drill out to 1/8 or whatever you are using for pins.
I have dealt with micro fasteners many times. Good source. Just by co-incidence we also have two different local "old fashioned" hardware store nearby and I was at one of them today for brass rod and flat washers.
I had to hit E-bay for the washers and collars I found some 1/16 and 3/16 brass pin rods at my local Hobby Lobby, I may go back and see if they have some 5/64ths rods. I have discovered a "cure?" to RAD. Its RD, "Restoration disorder"! Now I'm looking for bad razors with good handles, or good razors with bad handles. OR bad razors that include a GOOD Box! That way I have a home for one of my razors and a handle for other blades etc.
If you're not doing a lot of razors and don't mind waiting for usps I got some pinning kits from Maggard razor. Comes with rod nickel or brass and thrust washers and small collars.

I keep my receipts so here are part numbers for the small brass collars & the brass thrust washers that go between the tang & scales.
FWB0 (#0-collars)
FWBW0 (#0-3/16" OD) On these if you don't like them the thickness they come, I use a hammer & flatten them thinner. If you keep the OD like as close to round as you can get, it will be more uniform. I then hold them tight with some smooth jaw needle nose pliers & drill a 1/16" hole back in them because hammering on it will close the hole some. Drilling them usually leaves a burr so you will need to slide the washers back & forth on a piece of sandpaper to make it smooth. I like to use 1000-1500 grit.
Here’s a good thread with the part numbers.
