I just wonder if they actually made a spike-point? Much less a French-point?

So, Prodigy. Do you think the scales are original? Seem to be not as wide on the wedge end..
Here's the only other 9/8 spike point W&B I have, no markings on it other that the maker's mark....it's proportions and measurements are identical to each other (except for the magnificent thumb-notch :o).

Yea, I think I'll hold on to it. The scales are split on one side at the pivot, so I'll problem make some burl scales for it at some point.
Amen to that, Phrank! It seems W&B razors had a pecking order as to the steel.
The good ones are so much better! JMO.
