I understand what you meant. I just felt mass-produced was a bit misplaced, because when you buy a Revisor or Koraat (or an Aust, for that matter), you get a razor that was pretty much manufactured by one craftsman. From pre-manufactured ("standard") blanks, indeed. I would say 'production razors' would be the appropriate term.Quote:

I just mentioned this, as some people seem to regard these production razors as less special, or individualized, than "custom" razors, which I feel sells these manufacturers short.
To me, production razor manufacturers, especially Aust and Revisor, represent a piece of living history.
