Thread: Age of Dovo?

    Default Age of Dovo?

    Can anyone give me the age of this Razor? It has a slightly diferint point than the ones on classicshaving. By the way how can you put photos in the posts that will expand?

    I think that is a french point... the spanish points are usually more pronounced ("pointier")
    age 1960's or so... i have 3 NOS from vintage blades dated mid 60'2s and they are all marked "Fritz Bracht" but i do not know when they started adn stopped that moniker.

    I prefer the thumbnail like you used... that way the viewer has the choice as about viewing the picture full size

    to put them in the post itself i believe you first have to upload them to someplace like photbucket and then link to that page..


    here is the link to the official Dovo site the try the cronicle section and look at the changes to the logo ... fritz bracht took over just before WW2.
    the link was in the libary page found on the home page.

    That link was very useful. I now know that my Razor was made Between 1953 and 1991. I wander if there is any info on when Dovo started criotempering their SS blades? I will try to look into this more but someone here may have looked into this already.
