Here are some horn scales heading out to an SRP member. This horn isn't very easy to work but it's got rich colors and character that I think is just fantastic.

How do you restore horn scales?
Neatsfoot oil and lots of polishing restores horn scales unless they're too far gone to restore. Horn is pretty durable stuff since there are a lot of horn scaled razors from the 1800's still hanging around after countless years of total neglect. :)
