Here are some horn scales heading out to an SRP member. This horn isn't very easy to work but it's got rich colors and character that I think is just fantastic.

Thanked: 324Neatsfoot oil and lots of polishing restores horn scales unless they're too far gone to restore. Horn is pretty durable stuff since there are a lot of horn scaled razors from the 1800's still hanging around after countless years of total neglect.

Those scales look nothing short of fabulous - neatsfoot oil - I'm sure I used to dress my leather motorcycling jacket with that years ago - is it the same stuff?
