Default What make Dubl Ducks so good?

I have now purchased 2 Dubl Ducks (Dwarf, Goldedge) both have been super easy to hone and impart some of the best smooth shaves. I own other brands and so far these are one of the best ones for me.

They also seem to keep their edge a bit longer.

So what makes these razors so good?s

high quality control standards, exacting tolerances, excellent suppliers... most if not all were made under contract often by Puma and Dovo, IIRC.
    and lots of good marketing.

That pretty much makes me want to go out and buy a puma!

And don't forget those two cute ducks.

Mine fit my hands very well and were perfectly balanced. Can get very sharp and smooth, too. Easy on the eyes, if you are into corny celluloid scales

However, I can say the same for many other razors, and some of them much cheaper. Mind you, they weren't any cheaper when they were manufactured and sold in the past - they were the same cost as a new DD at the time, some of them even more expensive, depending on model. It's just that now Ducks are highly sought after. (I don't have a single Duck left - sold them all; I *may* later consider buying back some models just so that I have them)

    Cheers

I've had the same experience. I have a gaggle of geese and they all shave great. Don't know why, but why argue with perfection.
