Amazing thread! Thanks guys. :)
Just got this in. Haven't even had a chance to clean it yet.
Wade & Butcher Barber's Special
Attachment 338270
I have at least half a dozen Wade & Butcher Specials but I have never even heard rumors of a "Barber's Special." Didn't even know there was such a thing and the only mention of it I can find online is my post in the what do you have in the mail thread. That's why I snatched it up when I saw it come across eBay.
It appears to have lost a little blade width but it is just about or was just about a size larger than the Specials I have. I'll repost once I get it cleaned up and shave ready.
Ah.! Old American.... Got a few.
A couple Waterville, Conn.

Just couldn't bring myself to removing the beautiful patina from it. No rust or pitting, just heavy patina, and even hone wear.

A lovely 5/8 Rattler or quill spine, for some.

A 7/8 Northfield, Conn. Rattler Very thin.!!

That's some collection you have there Mike. I need to get busy doing some restoration... And also making some wind chimes.
I guess my rarest razor would be a J. Bingham's Criterion. It was produced between 1830 - 1837. Once I cleaned it up, it become a favorite of mine to shave with. Here are some pictures:

Very nice too John. Is that a W crown R stamp?
