But but but the scales aren't ivory. :p All kidding aside, my stainless steel razors strop just like my other non stainless steel razors. As a bonus it should have a good edge coming from SRD.

I know, I know, but my plan to skydive a team down and "rescue" an ivory pile before it was burned fell through last week when the aircraft rental company got a bit suspicious. All that planning for nothing!

I bought those scales to replace some celluloids that started going. They are very pretty.
Dovo makes a nice razor. It should shave very well as long as it's honed before delivery.
Terrible razor. Send it to me and I will suffer through.
I had one of those a long time ago, and I remember it feeling scale-heavy. Or maybe the scales were thick... Something about too much scale.
Some stainless can be different that carbon when honing, but for stropping and shaving, I have never felt much of a difference.
