I am looking at this item on Epay and I know NOTHING about these, can I get a review on this razor, does it look O.K.?

Filarmonica EPBD razors are quite desirable, but I would pass this one up no question. YMMV.

I'd suggest starting with a search of the forum; there has been a lot of talk about these razors. Then it'd be up to you as to whether you think that one's worth the price tag on it. Any time it's a question of price, only you can make the decision if it's worth it to you.

So the razor in question has had a lot of work done to it and still has a lot of pitting, and the rubber grip looks melted. I have no idea if it could have been melted chemically or from heat. At this point in my razor buying and selling, this one offers little interest to me. When looking at vintage razors, for me the value in terms of collectibility and desirability are mostly about condition. The cool factor comes in much later.

and thats why I always ask when something like this comes up, it was hard for me to tell looking at the pics but the Logo did not seem correct to me.

The razor looks buffed and the rubber grip is in very poor condition.
For that price you can get a NOS #13 Double Temple or a very well preserved #14 Double Temple or Novodour that will shave just as well.

For the same reasons RezDog noted. I could see spine wear, pitting, and some (poor) work done to the top of the spine. Since the grip is practically toast and one of the particular features of the EPBD, I would pass on this one point alone.

Outside of a couple of exceptions, I choose razors from eBay that are in excellent condition with little to no spine wear. Any blade that shows obvious signs of someone's poorly-executed restoration work gets immediately tossed from my consideration. I'm unwilling to risk such purchases.
