Worlds Fair razor history?
I just bought this razor from bouschie. The etching on the blade reminded me of a
photo that my grandmother had in her collection, taken at the 1893 Worlds Fair
in Chicago.
However, according to what information I have found on the web, The Geneva
Cutlery Company wasn't in business until 1902. So, it looks doubtful that the
razor was a souvenir from the 1893 Worlds Fair.
Anybody have any idea what we have here?

From bouschie's description: "Manufactured 1902-1935. Back of blade almost straight with round point and single shoulder. Blade measures approximately
3 x 6/8. On blade “WORLDS FAIR BUILDING - SILVER STEEL in flags”. On
shank “GENEVA CUTLERY CO. - EXTRA HOLLOW GROUND - GERMAN
GROUND”. Jimps bottom of shank."

Yea the Colombian Worlds fair in Chicago.
Probably to just commemorate it not a souvenir though.
