Thanked: 3Case for a 9/8 razor
I just bought a 9/8 Joe Chandler and it doesn't fit in any of my cases. What do you use to hold your big razors in?

What kind of case(s) do you use now?
You can occasionally find bigger vintage coffin boxes at antique stores, etc., but be careful with any kind of enclosed storage thing. If there's any moisture on your razor when it's put away, it won't have a chance to escape and can lead to damage.
Personally, I have the few razors I am using in rotation in a soapstone stand I made, and the rest are stowed away in a pen roll I bought at an art store. It has elastic to secure the razors and so accommodates a wide range of sizes.
Others have bought/made cases to store or display their razors. There are TONS of options!
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

If you search for "storage" in the search box up at the top right, a whole bunch of threads should appear. Take a look through some of those and you may find just what you're looking for.

I like revamped jewelry boxes, but it can be difficult finding those that will harbor choppers, unless they lay flat.
I think I need a couple more.Mike
