Having shaved with very hollow ground and bellied hollow ground, I personally do not see much difference if any in the results. IIRC both give that scraping toast sound while shaving indicating to me that both are finely ground. I'd go along with the vibration angle as justification for a patent.

I did not mean to say "vibration" was a valid reason just that it was used to validate the need for a patent. Angle in this case was used as in angling for an excuse or what is your angle. Not the angle of the blade on your face. Ain't English in all it's colloquialisms a lovely language. Now I know the meaning of "flat like a lizard drinking".Quote:
