Thread: Good Razor Sharpening/Reapir Service

Can anyone recommend a good service that can sharpen/repair razors? I need to have one of my razor's re-pinned and the other sharpened.

I cannot seem to find anyone that sells the pins online and I am somewhat apprehensive about doing it myself should I be able to find them.

Also, it has been almost 5 years since I last need to make a razor or strop purchase and it seems that who I used to buy from (Straight razor place) is no longer in business.

Can anyone recommend any alternatives?

There are a number of guys here on the forums that do great repair work at reasonable prices. I bet a few of them will reply to this or send you a PM to let you know.

I am guessing you are in the US.
Maggards come to mind right away, they are still doing business and people rave about the service there.
Glen at GemStar customs does an excellent service.
There are others but those two are the ones that I see the most feedback on.
