    Default K Brand?

Can anyone tell me anything about "K Brand" razors? There's nothing in the library
about them, and google isn't helpful.

    Thank you.

Never ever heard of "K Brand" razors. A photo of one might be helpful.

Here ya go, Bob. Truth to tell, I think it's a piece of junk. I may just relegate it
to the "for practice honing only" drawer.

Thanks for posting those photos. If I just went by the photos I'd never suspect it to be a RSO. I take it that it will not take an edge or keep it? If I ever see one I think I'll steer clear of it.

Looks to me like its full hollow, double shoulder with a scalloped spine. It could easily pass for a rebranded Solingen.

Yep. It will take an edge, but it fails after a single pass. I've re-honed it twice, and the same thing
    happened each time.

I regret that I don't speak French. Would you mind translating at least the gist of it?

    Thank you all!

It is very hard to follow the French thread using Google translate. For sure it is made in Germany at Solingen. They seem to have a good reputation in that thread. For a real wild stab in the dark at who the maker is, I'd say the name Kabrand could be a mix of two names for the makers. The Ka part standing for Karl and the last bit for his partner's name or his last name. Oth it could be just a brand name for someone.

You might find it in this list if you get lucky.
