When buying a used/vintage razor do you bother to sanitize it before using it? I'm not much of a germaphobe, but when it comes to something that most likely has had someone else's blood on it, I don't think I can be too careful. Just wondering what you guys use to sanitize your gear...I'm actually fortunate enough to have access to an autoclave, but I'm afraid it might damage some of my scales...I've also picked up a very nice badger brush at an antique store recently, and would like to know the best way to sanitize it before using...
