Help with ID

Hi all...I'm new around these parts and need some help. I got this last weekend and was wondering if any of you gents could tell me more about it. Near the tang it is marked "Supplee Hardware Company" and "Made in Germany." On the blade, there is faint etching that reads "Our Best." I am a DE user and spend most of my time at Blade and Badger but have been a lurker here for a couple of months (I'm not a multi-tasker and thus can only concentrate on one forum at a time). This one attracted me because of the ivory/celluloid/bakelite that is clad on the tang end of the blade. The same material appears to be used for the spacer as well. Scales have no cracks and seem solid. I haven't really seen many like it and thought what the heck. Not sure yet if I will keep or sell. Does it look like it would be a good restoration candidate? I can't help you there, but it looks like a nice razor. It also looks like it would restore easily or really, could even be honed as is and shaves attempted.

Covered tangs are sought and valued by some more than others I think. I can appreciate them but don't own any and don't go out of my way to look for them.
