Welcome to the forum, but you may want to hit the newbie section and the Wiki a little harder. Maybe a formal introduction before jumping into the fray. I understand brand loyalty, but with posting new stuff on an old post promoting what most find as inferior, is a little controversial.
I understand the firearm relation as well, for most enthusiasts would never touch a Hi-Point firearm. What they are missing is a fantastic carbine rifle at a very affordable cost.
With that scenario in mind, I do not expect my Hi-Point to maintain accuracy and functionality through thousands and thousands of rounds compared to say, a Berreta carbine. But it is fun to use in the meantime.
Same thing goes with razors, you get what you pay for. If it is working for you now, enjoy it while it lasts. At least until you can afford the higher grade equipment.
For me, my face deserves better. As for firearms, own as many boomsticks as you can and get as wide a variety as well.

I think the reason a lot of the members here use a straight (myself included) is because it incorporates into our lives a little slice of the past, when things were made better and we didn't have this crazy disposable McCulture that we have today.
A straight razor takes longer to shave with, has one heck of a learning curve, and for a great deal of members here, is much more expensive than using a cartridge. Why do we continue to use a straight razor then? Refer to the thread 'why shave straight' for reasons.
A Zeepk razor is an insult to people who wish to get away (at least briefly) from our disposable society where everything is made to last a year or two and then be replaced by another poorly made product.
When I buy a brand new Dovo, TI, etc. I know that I can bring the edge to a sharpness level that will give me a superlative shave better than any cartridge razor. The reason for this is because they were made well and with the straight shaving consumer in mind.
When I buy a Zeepk razor, it's going to be a crapshoot on whether I can even get the edge to a shave-worthy sharpness and if it will stay there or not. It's simply a mass-produced piece of novelty steel that is nowhere near the same quality of a new or vintage straight from more reputable brands.
As far as "pompousness" goes, this board has some of the nicest members who will go out of their way to help you, I think you will find instances of pompousness few and far between.
Just realize that a large number of us are seeking quality and not simply a way to save money. If using a cheap straight razor is your way to save money from buying cartridges all the time, there's nothing wrong with that, but for a lot of us that's only a secondary concern (or not a concern at all).
