Can someone identify this razor?
That's going to be a tough one. I may be wrong, as I am still a greenhorn, but there were a lot of varieties of "barber's special"s floating around. The date and origin may just be a mystery. However, it looks like a real dandy. My "ladwig's special" from the milwaukee barber supply is one of my top shavers.
Here's one thatlooks like yours a bit....
I'd say 1900 or a little later. It has all characterstics of a modern razor, jimps, round point, full hollow ground, but the celluloid scales keep it from being later than 1950.
Just my guess.
