    Default terminology ?

What is the most technical, razor savvy term for the shorter blade length often labeled as "travel" size straight

    Kevin,
There are several different names that come to mind. There are "dwarf" razors, i.e. "Dubl Duck Dwarf" which are a little smaller, and I imagine also the TI SuperGnome could be considered such a razor (I've not actually seen one in person, though so I could be wrong).
There are also straights made specifically for travel. I have one made by Case, and it is not smaller than other razors at all, but rather than standard scales, its handle is designed to lock into a matched case, rather than like regular razors which require a seperate one. Wish I had a picture of one for you, but I don't think these are what you are asking about at any rate.

I don't know Doc. I only no about 3 kinds of corn razors. The kind you shave the silks from corn with. The ones you shave corns from your feet. And the kind you are talking about, which I have no idea.

The one I'm talking about has an edge approx 2.1/4 inch long and is 5. 1/8 inch closed.

Edit after search: Oh, I was joking but I guess there is a blade for corny feet. No that's not the type

The travel razor is the bottom one. It slides into the plastic sleeve in the middle for a self contained package.
The upper razor is just for scale, the Eicker stainless I've been using most of the time for awhile now.

    Hope this helps.
