OK, so I guess I'd have to say my restored W&B wedge I just had an excellently smooth shave this morning with it. Really top notch.

I gave away my baby and thus broke the stranglehold that RAD's shadow threatened me with some time ago.
Anyway, my workhorse is my Wapienica. I don't have another baby yet; maybe someday :)
Not my best shaver, a good one, just not the best. I really love the look and feel of this one though. It is a John Elliot "for barber's use" measuring in at a healthy 8/8 full wedge grind with a barber's notch. The scales are some of traveller's work.

as the starter of this thread i need to post pics of mine :-D It's the only one i have that "sings." while stropping there's a resonant "shing shing shing" ask i said it's not much of a looker (someone even carved "popp" in to the handle). the pics are after some maas polishing to clean it up a bit.
I'm still trying all sorts of blades, but I can already tell (after only three shaves) that it's going to be very hard to beat the Zowada:

oh i envy you bpave....that is a very beautiful razor
Well, I got it today and had one of the BEST shaves I ever had.I didn't do anything but take it out of the packing and giving it a strop. JOE CHANDLER is the MAN:bow. here it is: 5/8 roundpoint with Desert Ironwood Scales. Mirror polished-absolutely flawless in every way. I WILL be buying ANOTHER.http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b3...handler004.jpg
This is my baby. It's a carr brothers cutlers. I'd love to have it rescaled and the blade restored but i can't afford that so ill just keep on shavin with it till some other date.
Mine is a TI Le Grelot that I honed for another SRP member. Absolutely the smoothest shave I have ever had.:)
As I tend to be a collector of things...I'll probably be buried with all of them....
But, I really like the W.Greaves that Philadelph fixed up for me, and I'm awfully partial to the Thiers Issard sboulderless 6/8 I bought from C-Utz here.
I hate to say I'd only take one, but it is kinda neat to see our opinions change as we get more into this hobby.
