Default Outcome of 50+ razor collection sale?

Does anyone know what the outcome was of that 51 straight razor sale collection posted by someone named Bill Porter recently? I thought he posted in the classifieds, but I don't see it anywhere. I thought he was going to take the highest bid as of this last Friday.

    Any info?

I think I remember seeing that the lot went for $700.

Yeah, Sandcounty is right. He posted at the end of the classifieds ad that it sold for $700. Don't know who bought it though. I'd be interested in what happens to all those blades now! Maybe someone will be listing 51 separate straights in the classifieds pretty soon! lol

That collection looked to be consistent with a handful of other collections around that size that I've personally either viewed or purchased; a percentage of the razors IMO were worthless due to either large blade chips, broken unrepairable scales or both. Kind of a "take the bad with the good" type thing.

I'm sure the buyer feels they got a good deal so that's what matters.
