    Default new razors

    Hi folks,

    just picked up some razors today. The first is fairly easy being a sheffield marsk brothers pond works razor

    The second I am not so sure. I guess it might be an ERN (based on the eagle and snake logo).Does anyone know what the 27 3/4on the tang refers to? Also what about the Algerine (I think thats what it says), is that some reference to silver steel? The Cragg Bros and Co seems to have been a local Halifax (basically, where I live) merchant company perhaps in the late 1800s. I guess they got ERN to make the razor with their name on the tang for sale in their stores.

    sorry guys, I used a close focusing attachment on my lens and the focal plane is a bit shallower than I realized. If you want better pictures I can try some different settings.
