i remember in his dvd he discusses using a certain type of oil to preserve the blades for longtime storage, i cant find my copy of the dvd...anyone could help me?

I'm guessing it may be "Tuf-Glide". A lot of people also just use mineral oil.
as great as tuff glide is it has a hard time sticking to a mirror finish blade

How about camelia oil? I believe you can get that in Japaneese Sword shops. Best bet would probably be to contact OLD SCHOOL. Shou will be able to tell you for sure! Good luck:gl:

any good machine oil will work. That is not wd40, but three in 1 and rennwax will work, gun oil, etc as well
