Default My razor diet has been working !!!!

I counted up shave ready razors in the collection today and realized that I am down from 77 shave ready razors to 52 so in the past 6 months I have shaved 25 razors off the collection....
Now some of you that are building collections are saying shut up Glen, but others out there can relate....

I have grown rather picky in buying razors, and have only gone after exactly the ones that I like, and have been steadily selling or gifting the others....

The collection has gone down to 10 Dubl Ducks and 10 Shumate's in the cabinet, and then 2 drawers full

My German drawer with 5 Beau Brummels, 6 C-MON's, 1 Otto Duetsch 1 Puma, 1 ERN, 1 Henckels, and two English razors in the back 1 Bengall and 1 W&B

My American drawer with 2 Green Lizards, 1 Red Imp, 1 Kinfolks, 1 Easy Aces, 1 Craftsman 3 Hess', 1 Robeson 1 Ka-Bar, 1 GEM, 1 "Mack the Knife" and tucked in the back are 2 Spanish Fillarmonica's

Size wise they are almost all 5/8 to 6/8 mostly all at the 11/16 size...and exactly 1 Wedge in there...

Yeah I am liking this, now if I could just find those last 1or 2 that I want I will be done....

Beautiful collection Glen, I'm going to search ebay straight razors now.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Glen, do you happen to have, or have you had in the passed, a Hill & Son? I know I'm sounding like a broken record again, but I can't get over what a good shaver mine is.

I have not, but I have run into plenty of the not so well known brands that will shave like silk... Honestly my best shaver is still my little L.H. Mack, I have finally come to realize that it really isn't mystical it just fits my face perfectly... and that one cost me all of $7...

I'm on a razor diet too. Except I'm trying to gain weight right now.

Trouble is that food gets expensive.

...and you become a picky eater quick quickly.

...and that become even more expensive. (Heck, Yellow mustard has it's place but it doesn't compare to the Gray-poop-on variety!)

So now I'm trying to learn how to cook my own meals. But even the kitchen utensils are expensive.

    ...dang, I'm hungry now...lol

    BTW....gorgeous collection.

    Glen,

What is it about green scales? They also grab my carbon footprint like there is no tomorrow.

If Martin @ rasurpur had put the Le Grelots in green scales, I'd probably own every one he had for sale.
