Or ...... you can help start flooding SRP with this information or ask the questions here to and we can all gain the knowledge. Don is a pretty good soap and soft side guy!!!!!!
Have fun.

I dont know anything about the forum issues but I bought a Wacker (via mail order, from Heribert himself) not long ago and found the quality to be substandard. http://straightrazorpalace.com/newbi...tml#post297783
I post on B&B and was involved in this post. before I comment on that I will say that there is a mentality over there that the pack goes along with Joel and if you really criticize Joel and the pack you are risking sanctions however if you are diplomatic about what you say you have nothing to fear. I've done it several times and not had any problems aside from a few, ahem, comments.
In this case however John made some comments the mods felt were, how should we say not playing nicely and I'm sure John will address what I just said. Now I'm not making any accusations against John here just stating what happened.
Well, after reading both the review and the Boker thread I can say (even though John made some hasty remarks), that John had a right to get defensive. Joels comments in the review were nothing short of defamation and were meant to provoke. I've never met Joel, don't know if I want to, but I have dealt with John Crowley a few times now and he has been nothing short of helpful. I emailed him last week regarding his Friodurs, and his response was quick and was willing to go out of his way to help me. You don't need B&b anyway John!
I also think Lynn is absolutely correct. If we need more soap info, etc, why don't we start from there? In fact to hell with B&B, we should take the best concepts from there and expand SRP to its full potential. Just my opinion.......
Well after reading all this .....
I just have to say I am perfectly happy right here, drama free and a great group of honest and respectful people.
the highlighted text hurts my eyes. just increase the size on your screen, if you have a mouse iwth a wheel I think holding control while rotating it will enlarge/reduce display size in internet explorer.
If you browse on Mozzila Firefox hold the control key down and hit the + key until your font is the size you want to read it.
I don't know why you're complaining. I was banned a few days after registering at B&B before I had even been allowed to make a post. Reason given in the email was that I didn't fit their criteria or something.
If I remember correctly the only information they had about me was my chosen username (same one that I use here) so make of that what you will.
Shame, because I like their site. I don't go there much because I can't join in and it's frustrating when you have an idea you want to share.
Also I have to suffer the nag bar at the top of the screen asking me to register with them! :gaah:
You're clearly a terrorist, Ray and the only reason you're here is to destabilise the art of wet shaving.

Right - there is nothing to stop a good exchange about shaving in general here. I use a double edge once in a while and have found that not all double edge blades are equal for example. I can't help but wonder what is up with brushes though! Just because the third hair from the left of center was .15mm shorter than it should have been, and the brush obviously wasn't made from the very best hair from the testicles of a one eyed mountain badger - I mean, what's up? :rofl2:
Point taken. My eyes aren't the greatest. I had radial and astigmatic caratotomy on both eyes about fifteen years ago and my left eye cornea is unstable in axis axis which causes the residual astigmatism to float plus or minus ten degrees in that eye. I buy a pair of glasses and the left lens is only good for about three months.
