    just quickly is there a difference between the different filarmonica names like "doble temple" or "novodur" or no name etc... all with the same number.

    I have several fillys but cannot answer your question. There is a remarkable lack of info on Filarmonica razors.

    Another interesting thing that we have not found an answer for is that the number 14 stamp has been seen in Puma razors and Dovo............

    You see the 14 often on large razors, I have always thought it is short for 14/16.

    14 is the sum of letters b-a-c-h (b=2, etc..): the composer used this number many times in his compositions..[true!!] Hope this can help..

    Not a 14 but I have a 5/8 C-mon-Filly Doble Temple # 747 also stamped Made in Spain, Peter J. Michaels NY on the reverse tang. I wonder if there were Bresduck Fillys ?
