Japanese Framebacks

I have seen a couple of Japanese framebacks for sale, but haven't picked one up yet. Have any of you ever used one and if so how do they compare to others that you have used? Below is an example of what I am talking about.

That doesn't look like a frameback from this angle. Probably a partial hollow. You see those every now and then but I don't know much about them.

It is definately a frameback 'style'. I have handled one and the steel below the back is different and flat all the way to where it meets the ridge of the back portion. I am not sure what to call it if is not a frameback.

What I am calling the 'back' is hollowed, but is a seperate peice to the lower steel of the cutting edge.

Also, I don't think that these are made anymore and are somewhat vintange. Although, how old they are I am not sure. The one in the picture I assume is old stock and hasn't been used.

I saw one of those somewhere on ebay recently. It had some rust going on, and I'd never seen the razor design before, so I didn't bother to add it to my watch list. Not I kinda wish I had...

I'd love to hear something about howe they shave as well.

I think I might get one and see how it hones and shaves. If it is good then I will/can let people know and if others are willing I may be able to get a couple more although they probably won't be exactly the same with regards to the markings.
