It's true, really, you've got it better than most of us here. You don't need to pumice your strop - it looks good (I say pig skin). The pumice is for fixing people's errors, sometimes it's not enough and you need contact cement too.
No need to paste the strop either. If you can use the swaty well, I don't think a paste would give you much benefit. Of course if you want to play you can get some Chromium oxide from ChrisL and paste the back side of the strop that you're not using currently.
Actually that side's already treated with something - I just read the label on the strop. Leave it as it is.
