Hey guys, I got three real nice ones in today...One of them a Genco "Fluid Steel", one a FAMA from Star Works, and one is...something else.
It came in a brown box with some ind of flower shaped impressions (probably not original) and it has "World's Fair Razor" engraced on the blade, in a flowing banner script, around a stylized glode with 1893 stamped on it. NOT the typical 1893 world's fair razor engraving, as I understand it.
The maker's mark is what interests me--it's almost completely gone, but it appears to be a stag, with a hunter holding one arm around its neck...Anyone have any info about this one?
Thanks!
