I was looking at some vintage straights on Amazon and ran across this cool looking thing.

I guess its some hybrid of a double edge and a straight? I thought it was neat, and that folks here would appreciate it.

Shows up on eBay often. Older form of the shavette. Have one, also their safety razor version that uses the same blade as their shavette. And, Amazon is asking way to much for the darn thing.

I had no intention of getting it, I'd rather spend the money on a nice straight. I just found it interesting, and was curious about it.
