East Tennessee Hillbilly Boker
OK, This find was yet another antique mall and was in a pile with a bunch of broken razors. It look pretty sad sitting there amongust the dearly departed but for 12 bucks I thought it worth a try. Look close the scales they are quite unique, they are actually one piece and look to be whittled out of a broom or a mop handle. I've spent about 7 Hours this week cleaning, sanding, and polishing and she is coming along nicely. I was looking for scales for this razor but after working on the blade it had a unique look with the wood it had. I will give it a new look down the road but for now I'll leave it like this. I think someone in the past like this razor enough to do what it took to keep it useable. I kinda like the look.
This one's when I got it
