Doesn't look like any blade i've seen. You'd imagine that the maker would be proud enough to stamp their name on it, if it was any good though, wouldn't you?
With regard to the stamping their name... There is a company out there that makes legitimate Solingen razors that has no name per se. This is why I ask.
Done.......
Now days they are getting tough. hard to figure this out . it is original or fake. until we buy one and try it will be really difficult to find out. gl
Straight Razors made in Solingen
razors - NTS-Solingen Web-Shop - scissors and knifes made in Solingen
switchblade, scissors, swords, automatic knives, straight razor, woodworking chisels....
Here are some that are legit with no maker. The Rostfrei- Inox reminds me of the Dovo tang stamp. Also on the one website their shavettes look exactly like Dovo Shavettes.
i am not sure but i will say check the shank of this sites. they looks like engraved words? is that right?
Solingen is a registered trademark AFAIK so it should be made in Solingen. However, cheap imitations abound in this world so I would not be surprised if it is Pakistani junk after all. It looks el cheapo somehow.
So I voted for real Solingen: so don't :gwh: if I get it wrong.
The tang is probably accurate. Originally it was going to be made in Solingen, Germany, but it turned out they could do it cheaper in Pakistan!
