Ahhhh, see, I was taught that a ten was a spot and a sawbuck was a twenty...but I have no idea why my dad would know carny-speak. I just thought it was "rural American", that rarest of tongues, where a tomato becomes a mater, and no one bats an eyelid at the triple negative (a la "He ain't never done nothing").
This razor was $17, so less than a double sawbuck apparently.
