If you have the tools to cut the tempered steel, I would go shorter rather than narrower, the steel is going to be thicker and softer the closer to the spine you get. cut it, polish it and make some custom short scales and have a unique moustache razor. or a Coochie Razor. Just my $.02

well i have come to the same relisation its far to much to grind it down to narrow, so ill have to go shorter.... ive been debating on how to cut it ... about to go try cutting it underwater

i obviously still have some cleaning to do anyway, and then then the sharpening... but i should end up with a good trim razor right?

welp finally got another day off work, decided to devote most of it to my poor pipe... heres some pics i still couldnt get some of the pitting off the blade, and i have to hone the razor (i just gave it a quick onceover on a black arkansa stone after i attatched it to the new scales)
