YZKAYA (Russian spelling Узкая) means narrow. Shame on me, I still don't have a single Russian razor :boohoo:

I don't feel appropriate to correct native Russians here but is not the correct English spelling "Uzkaya"?
One more Soviet razor, made by STIZ with "Crimean bridge" on the blade.
Being a language student of German and Russian, I am very much interested in getting a Russian razor eventually. There was one on the bay a while back, but the $14 shipping turned me off of it. German razors are easy to find, but razors from Russia are much much harder.
Russian is a BEAUTIFUL language, IMO. I would love to have a Russian razor as well :)

Beautiful...no other words...
I agree.
manah great razor too
I wish I had had the sense to look for a razor 37 years ago when I was there! :banghead:
Of course, I knew nothing, and God knows what I would have ended up with. I believe I remember seeing Raketa (Ракета) razors, and I strongly suspect they weren't of the quality we're seeing on this thread.

My razor is about 53 years old. Razors "Ракета" were made on the same factory STIZ.
