    Default RUSSIAN razor yzkaya

I bought this razor from europe i think it was Bulgaria.
I was interested in it only because of my Background. Razor was in new condition. Size is almost 5 /8 and has a little smile face to it. This razor is very very light.
I start to sharpen this blade and took me a good time just set a bevel. Remind me very hard steel TI chrome if i am not mistaken. Took me another 40 minutes to finish it up and shave test.
I couldn't believe how smooth shave was. All the work i spend on it was worth it.
if you have chance go head try this blade. you will love it.this is the pictures

Sham, I honed one for a local guy & found the same as you. Great shave but long time honing on my King stones. Look forward to ceramics soon. I think the one I did was stainless but not marked as such..
Not a spot of rust on the blade & a little near the pivot just brushed off.

Hm I never thought there are still old razors in Bulgaria.
I am hoping my mother in law finds her father's razors, I am curious what they will turn out to be if found.

It's not CT70, it's stamp of the factory - sputnik(the first sputnik of the Earth). 70 - model.
РСФСР - Российская Советская Федеративная Социалистическая Республика - The Russian Soviet Federal Socialist Republic
    5345 - State standard.
    IS that your razor?
    Unfortunately, it's not my razor.
