    Default Odd single edge blade holder

    I found two of these holders in the buy. Anyone see them before? Are they a barber or hair dressers tool, reed knife, paint scraper ect. The holder hinges up to slip in a single edge blade.

    It looks like a blade stropper to me. Handle for older SE blades that were meant to be stropped, kind of like on the old wedge safety razors (rolls razor, for example).

    Default Blade stropper

    Jim I think you are right the one with out bluing shows ware on what would be the spine on a straight. There is also a twinplex for double edge blades in the box.
