My 208 shaves just fine. I haven't gotten my other 2 honed yet. Just got laid off after a crazy few weeks. I did send the 208 to be rehoned from where I hit the sink and jacked my razor. I like it better than the Weck so far.

I have to +1 Utopian giving this blade an evaluation. While this was somewhat of a bold request I would be fascinated to see what Utopian finds. I do not own any gold dollars and have only entertained the idea of getting one for practice honing. I respect Utopian's opinion as he has always given pertinent, cogent advise for the myself and the other users here. Plus it may be an opportunity to help a new shaver. Go for it Utopian! OP will owe you a :beer2:
I say its a trap! Resist.
Well in this circumstance it means sustainable through a single shave.

This razor is junk. I am not wasting any more time on this one. I have been very fortunate to get around a group of gentlemen that really know how to hone and are very willing to share their knowledge. I have learned a lot and of course have much more to learn, but this razor is still junk. It is Junk. I don't think it can handle the left side of my face much less an entire first pass shave. Junk. Have I said Junk yet?

On Christmas 2013 I received a master straight from my wife as a stocking stuffer. She must have heard me say that I was always fascinated by straight razor shaving. Knowing absolutely nothing about them at all, I thought ti was cool. I soon learned it was an inferior instrument oh well. I ordered a shave ready straight from vintage razors.com and although miles ahead of the master it too was poor quality. I then bought a cheap shavette and proceeded to hack up my face. The one thing I learned from this was that I loved the whole straight shaving thing. It was after this that I discovered this forum. I got the razor from vintage razors.com shaving very well and use it every once in a while. I still have the master and will try to see if I can get it to shave. I will post the results. :chapeau
