Thanked: 22Use Maas or an equivalent on a Qtip and work around the etching. Fading is inevitable - the etching on my old "American's Choice" Wolstenholme is largely illegible now - but it can be minimized by avoiding unnecessary wear.
That Johnson is a great looking razor, It is satisfying to look at one of your razors and consider that it was around when Franklin was looking for the Northwest Passage, or when the first spikes were driven on the transcontinental railways.
May we each live as long as our oldest razor!
