Default I'm thinking this might be my new(ish) razor...

I posted a thread a week or so ago about looking to purchase a new razor. Well, I did some more searching, and I found one that really appeals to me. I suppose it isn't technically new, but I absolutely love the look of this thing, and it happens to be my favorite size. It also has that beautiful French point.

    What do you guys think?

As a side note, it would appear that I am wrong and it is, in fact, new.

Any report on the quality of the new Revisor blades? I found a thread about it, but it seemed to mostly be about the scales and the fact that they are making new ones...

That's a lovely blade there! Nice taste.

As for Revisor7s quality, I have a new 6/8 and it shaves great.

Lynn seems to like his 8/8 as well.

Revisor is good stuff, in my opinion.

    And we have a winner!

I do believe that this will be my first new razor ever.

My world will never be the same.

And I'm obviously not counting the 2 NOS Wapis on their way to me

Very nice looking razor. I'm partial to French points myself. I've never used a Revisor but I've heard good things about them.

Nice razor man. And a great price. Was looking at that one myself, but I don't like how delicate gold washes are. Too bad about the shipping cost. Let me know how you like it, I was thinking of getting one from the same place.

Looks alot like the Dovo #42, which is a 1/2 hollow stainless.
