If you could see me I am green with envy. :) At least as green as those scales. Lovely razor and I have been looking for a minty 6/8 Deutsch for eons. Congrats on your find. :beer1:

yes, it reads "Hans" on the tang. It's stamps are all the same as the typical Hans otto deutsch razor. You must know, when I found this razor in the antique shop it was very dirty and had some rust and gunk on it. All I have done to it is cleaned it up and used 1,000 grit paper. I will polish it next. I am just saying if someone custom made this razor it would have been done years ago by the look of the antique state I found it in. Here's some more pics. Thankyou for the input!

Thanks for the up close pics, I gotta agree that looks factory...
That sure is a different one, even the shape and design changed from the flared wedge end, to a TI diamond design...... nice snag...
and more.......
Thanks, doesn't it look like it predates the other Hans otto?
I hate to say it but it looks like this is another example of a counterfeit razor, similar to the W&B that was discussed recently.
Better send it to me. I'll be sure it's disposed of properly. *
*Right next to a few other very fine razors in my collection. :)
well, I guess if you pay for the shipping costs. Just send me the money and I'll ship it right over to ya!
I understand, I just figured from only having 2 pins rather than 3 the "diamond" scaled version would be older. I just thought that going to 3 pins would be an upgrade and adding a fancier inlay too. Thanks!
