Just a Heads Up for anyone considering on buying one of the Thiers-Issard Eagle Brand razors #J-86 for $234.95 with Red Staminawood Handle from the Knife Center, this model is not a large 7/8 blade that I and some of you on here like to use, in fact it is a small 6/8". I ordered this razor for my son for a Christmas present and when it arrived I knew something was wrong as soon as I opened it for inspection, and after I measured it I found it was just a little under 3/4" and was much smaller then my other 2 Thiers-Issard 7/8 razors. This razor is clearly marked 7/8" on the web site and on the factory box it comes in but the blade isn't. I called the Knife Center and they confirmed that they are indeed the smaller 6/8" blade but this is how Thiers-Issard sent them out (Badged as 7/8"), I sent it back and they gave me a full refund and now I noticed that they have changed the description as 3/4 to 7/8 and below they state that these razors are made from old forgings and the blade size can vary from 3/4" to 7/8".

Just so everyone know I did a little investigation and it turns out that Thiers-Issard makes this same exact razor for different sellers in Europe and they are marked and sold as having a 6/8" blade.
