My wifes grandmother wanted to be nice and bought me a straight razor from an antique store. She bought a blade that is definatley NOT old it says "The Ohio Farmer" "Cleveland Ohio" it seems to be a 5/8 blade with a spike point, the scales are red and the writing looks laser etched. My thoughts are that it is a chinese knock off of IDK what and it is not even worth honing.

The thought is very nice but she paid $40 for it. It looks to be in decent shape a little MAAS and it will look new.

Any info is greatly appreciated.
