Default Would this be a decent starter razor....

    Hello all,

I've been itching to start straight shaving (still remember the time when my barber many many many a moon ago would use one for the fine trims). So I went to one of the local antique shops and spotted this:

    A #35 - Beau Brummel (picture attached)

Does it look like it is in decent condition? (i'm going to try and get better pics tomorrow). Would also send it to Dan (floppyshoes?) for honing etc. (if he'd be gracious enough to accept it).

Any suggestions for approx age too would be awesome (it was located in a military display case if that helps?)

Welcome to SRP. Yes that is a good 'un. Brummels are real good IME and are well thought of AFAIK by anyone who has one or more. Floppy shoes is a good man to send it to as well. Not sure on the age of the razor. You've probably already been around the site but just in case you haven't seen it you can check out the SRP Wiki beginner's guide here.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Welcome to SRP Tolo.
    Looks good from first pic.
