    Question Help identifying razor

    Hello all!

    I have an unusual request.
I'm looking to identify a razor that is not in my possession. I've never seen it, I only have description.
    So here goes:
Scales has 5 point star inside incomplete circle. Blade handle has "DILLE", SOLINGEN and something that my aunt couldn't make out. Opposite side has - N.F.T inside stretched rhombus.
That's all I got. I will be getting this razor, it belonged to my grand dad, in the next few months.
If it helps, razor is located in Russia and was used for sure in the 70's and 80's, perhaps earlier, but I don't know that for sure.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Wish I could help you. Hopefully someone will be along with some information. You could try searching around in the Razor Database and see if you come up with anything.

    iakov,

There appear to be some Chinese characters on the tang. And Solingen appears to be misspelled as well.

Sorry, that's all the assistance I can provide.

Actually, about the characters on the tang, that looks Arabic or something to me, and if you turn the star emblem sideways it appears to be the Muslim star and crescent. That's just my observation on what I see here, because I know next to nothing about makers and such.

Sorry I can't identify the razor but the square stone look like a coticule. The longer one I can't tell.
