In the mid '80s I had a fling with straight razors that didn't last and it was back to the disposables. I never thought I would go back to DEs but I eventually did. More for nostalgia than the expectation of a better shave. I was pleasantly surprised. Once I went to straight razors this time around, thanks to SRP, it was a success and no turning back. I wouldn't take those multi blade vibrating gizmos they sell today if I had a lifetime free supply. ;)
