    It's very beautiful, both the razor and the scales. Why does the blade look almost gold? Is it the light in the room? Or is this a different kind of steel? And what are those scales made out of?

    it is light on the blade. Handle i assume is Plastic but it is thick plastic.Regular plastic usually thinner .
